Kerwin Chithray’s 1986 Golf 1 is no stranger to Durban Drags. This showstopper first appeared on our page a few months back and we've wanted to do a full feature on her ever since. Today we’re proud to announce her as our first full feature on Durban Drags!
Originally a two-toned Citi Golf (yellow and white) in 2011, Kerwin stripped and rebuilt the car to his liking over the next few years to achieve his dream of owning a daily-driven show car with a Euro twist. By the mid-2013, she was complete and Kerwin started entering automotive competitions at local car shows. Since then, she has taken Kerwin to JHB and back twice for the VW Camp Festival and she doesn’t show signs of stopping anytime soon!
A few more of Kerwin’s achievements include:
· A Sunday Tribune Feature
· Selected To Be On Display At The State Of Stance 2014 Event
· Selected To Be On Display At The Durban Motor Show 2014 Event
